Win 100 Carats of Diamonds at Dubai Summer Surprises

Posted July 14, 2009 , trackback

As part of the festivities during Dubai Summer
Surprises (DSS), The Dubai Mall has launched an extravagant “Win
100 Carats of Diamonds” campaign.

For every AED 200 spent at any retailer at
The Dubai Mall, or Souk Al Bahar shoppers can receive a
scratch and win card from any Guest Services desk for the chance
to win a dazzling half carat diamond - instantly.

 Worth
approximately US$3,000 (AED 11,010) each, 200 individual half
carat diamonds will be given away, for a combined total of 100
carats. This promotion will run exclusively for The Dubai Mall and
Souk Al Bahar shoppers until August 14, 2009.

“The Win 100
Carats of Diamonds promotion offers our valued shoppers the
exciting opportunity to win instantly, creating an element of
surprise and adding to the overall festivities of Dubai Summer
Surprises,” said Mr Nasser Rafi, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar
Malls Group. “Each of our diamonds is authenticated by the
International Gemological Institute (IGI), and guaranteed to be of
the highest quality. Throughout summer, visitors and residents of
Dubai can expect a full calendar of rewarding shopping incentives
and events to be rolled out at The Dubai Mall and Souk Al Bahar.”

In addition to the scratch and win cards, shoppers who
spend AED 200 or more will also receive a Surprising Millions
raffle coupon for the chance to win up to AED 5 million in prizes
as part of the Dubai Shopping Malls Group summer promotion. With
draws held weekly throughout DSS, prizes include passes to The
Dubai Mall’s leisure attractions including Dubai Aquarium &
Underwater Zoo and the Dubai Ice Rink.

The Dubai Mall
currently has over 900 retail outlets including several flagship
or debut stores of leading global brands. Anchor department store
Galeries Lafayette, one of France’s leading lifestyle retailers, has
opened, marking its entry to the Middle East market.
Bloomingdale’s, America’s leading department store is another key
anchor store, to open in 2010.

Friends and family can dine
at their choice of 160 F&B outlets at The Dubai Mall, or Souk Al
Bahar’s extensive waterfront promenade restaurants. Leisure
options at the mall include Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, the
Olympic-sized Dubai Ice Rink and The Waterfall. More entertainment
avenues including KidZania, SEGA Republic, and the 22-screen Reel
Cinemas will open at The Dubai Mall later this year.
