Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur launches Special Travel Rate

The Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur has launched a special travel industry rate available to travel trade personnel such as airlines, travel media, hotels, travel agents and others working within the hospitality industry.
The travel industry rate fluctuates based on our best available (BAR) rates or occupancy level. The special rate is RM 300++ per night for a deluxe room and RM 350++ per night for a deluxe room inclusive of one or two breakfasts. Special rates on broadband internet access is also available.

Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur launches RM 400++ Promotion

Le M?ridien Kuala Lumpur has launched a promotion for those looking to spend a couple of days in Malaysia’s capital city. With rates from RM 400++ guests can enjoy a one night’s stay in a Deluxe Room inclusive of breakfast and complimentary late check out until 3.00 pm. The offer is applicable for a minimum of two nights and is valid until 5 October 2008. The rate is subject to 10% service charge and 5% government tax.

Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown

In Nestled among the newer buidings are many reminders of the ethnic distinctiveness of this vibrant part of Kuala Lumpur. Buddhist temples resplendent in the red and yellow so loved by Chinese people everywhere face trendy, very up-scale stores like “Peter Hoe’s” where everything sold is subtle and elegant, not a trace of red or yellow in sight. On the streets, traditional stands sell fried seafood, spicy tofu, bean curd,fish garnished with chilis, and, of course, noodles everywhere. At one stall Miriam, my wife, stopped to consider the purchase of a (genuine, I swear) Rolex for only $20 US. At another I considered the bright red t-shirts with a Canadian Tire logo reading “Cannabis Tire” and featuring the familiar green five-leafed plant.
