The Manchebo (pronounced mon-chay-bo) Beach Resort and Spa is located on large, white, sandy Eagle Beach in beautiful Aruba. The resort’s slogan is “Where Rejuvenation is Our Passion,” which supports and emphasize its spa features. Containing just 71 rooms, the Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa is an intimate and relaxing vacation destination. Its Spa del Sol is a more recent addition. Manchebo Beach Resort Reviews: The Good, the Good, and More Good
The Manchebo Beach Resort and spa has numerous amenities for such a small facility. They include: air conditioned rooms with ceiling fans, attached patio or deck, flat screen TV, restaurants such as the French steakhouse, Garden Terrace, and the Pega Pega Beach Bar & Grill, an indoor fitness center, gift shop, deli, and adjacent tennis court. The resort is conveniently located just a three minute walk from the Alhambra casino, 10 minute drive to downtown Oranjestad and a 15 minute drive from the airport. The resort is a Green Globe Certified Resort and is environmentally friendly. Its best feature is the attached outdoor Caribbean-Balinese style Spa del Sol where guests are serviced with shiatsu, massage, body scrubs and wraps, facials, manicure, pedicure, whirlpool, and steam room- all just off of the beach. There are 45 available beach huts for guests to relax in.
On every website, Manchebo Beach Resort reviews are overwhelmingly positive, giving the resort an overall 4.5-5 of 5 stars. Guests have referred to the following when praising the resort and spa: very private, a “jewel” in Aruba, very clean, friendly service, reasonably priced, excellent food, many landmarks to visit nearby, quiet and tranquil atmosphere, and a great place to stay.
Manchebo Beach Resort reviews specific to the Spa del Sol are also positive. Guests refer to it as: one of the best spas, very indulgent, conveniently located right on the beach, and the type of relaxation that meets the purpose of a vacation.
Rooms at Manchebo Resort and Spa come with two double beds or one king size bed and are priced at $145-$295 depending on the season. Cheaper packages are available. The staff recommends that visitors try the French Steakhouse’s signature steak and the Beach Bar’s passion fruit daiquiri. They will serve both to guests inside, poolside, or under the stars.
