Long Bay Beach Resort Reviews

Posted January 21, 2009 , trackback

If you’re like me, you don’t go on vacation any more without checking online reviews for vacation destinations. Nothing gives you more information about what to expect from a beach resort vacation than reading about someone else’s experience. Reviews about Long Bay Beach Resort, in Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, are no exception. The reviews are fresh and the reviewers are descriptive and honest about their experiences at Long Bay Beach Resort.

Long Bay Beach Resort - Reviews From Honeymooners
Long Bay Beach Resort is a popular honeymoon destination, so many of the online reviews of the resort are from honeymooners. More than 50% of the Long Bay Beach Resort reviews say the resort is recommended “for an amazing honeymoon.”
Jamaicalady and her husband, both from the United States, spent the first five days of a two-week honeymoon at Long Bay. Beach Resort & Villas. Jamaicalady had been all stressed out from all the craziness that goes in to planning a wedding, and she got some much-needed relaxation at Long Bay Beach Resort. Her review praised the outstanding food at the resort’s restaurants, but warned the men to bring a pair of long pants and a collared shirt so they can get in to one of the resort’s nicer restaurants. The resort has three restaurants, but only one is open per night, and one of the restaurants has a dress code.

Long Bay Beach Resort - Rave Reviews From Vacationers
Vacationers have a lot to say about the resort in their Long Bay Beach Resort reviews.
Kerbyderb, of Gotha, Florida, gave the Long Bay Beach Resort a review of four stars out of five. She and her husband spent five nights at the resort, so she should know what she’s talking about. Kerbyderb posted four photos of her vacation, and the white sandy beaches, palm trees, and distant mountains in Smugglers Cove look like heaven on earth.
Kerbyderb recommends that you avoid the pool bar, because of its high prices and so-so service. But the food and bar at 1748 are awesome, and the view from the bar is amazing.
HotelmanIowa gave Long Bay Beach Resort a five-star review. He spent six days in October in a beachfront room at Long Bay, and he highly recommends a beach front room. HotelmanIowa found the food and service outstanding, and “the liquor was all top shelf.” You can’t overstate the importance of good liquor on a beach resort vacation!
