The free event has a long-standing history in the region, with this year marking the 108th time it has been held in the grassy meadows of the area, in Oberkassel.

While every day of the celebration, which runs between July 18th and 26th, is set to be spectacular, the major highlight of the showcase is a sensational fireworks display over the city, which will light up the skies around the area on July 24th.

The fun fair is open from 14:00 local time through the week, from 13:00 local time on Saturdays and 11:00 local time on Sundays.
