Decode Car Hire Preparing for the 2010 Car Hire Season
Posted November 9, 2009 , comments closed) London With the World Travel Market 2009 almost here, Decode Car Hire is gearing up to release its new plans for 2010. There has been some recent stirrings about Decode Car Hire focusing a lot of its energy into the ever popular social networking markets. With the new Facebook application called Easy Car Hire already available, Decode Car Hire is really trying to bring the cars to the people rather than vice versa. They are also utilizing Twitter to reach a large audience about their worldwide car hire services. A spokesperson from the Decode Car Hire marketing department said, “We are very interested to see what kind of activity we can stimulate through these relatively untapped social mediums. It is really great how they are all linked together and they provide a very low cost solution to our advertising plans.” The spokesperson continued to speak about the Facebook application and how it is the only one of its kind on the internet’s biggest social network page. He acknowledged the accomplishment with some more words about the Facebook application saying, “The idea was simple really, we implemented our application so that millions of Facebook users could search for cars without having to come to our main website. We are also using the Facebook as a customer service medium so that our existing and future customers can contact us.” The customer service reference was enthusiastically emphasized by the Decode spokesperson because he was very anxious to speak about the new project.
Decode Car Hire is planning to step up the customer service aspect of the business to set themselves apart from competing companies. With new satisfaction guarantees ready for 2010, Decode Car Hire really wants to learn from the mistakes of the competition, as well as themselves, to provide the best service in the business. Again the Decode Car Hire spokesperson wanted to really address the new plan by saying this, “We see what people write in forums and we know there is a lot of problems with the aspects of customer service in the car hire business. We are here to fix the problems. We want our customers to feel welcome and respected when they use our company. Our new plans for the 2010 year are going to completely revamp the car hire customer service business and will guarantee the satisfaction of our clients.” He was careful not to reveal the full details of the customer service plans, but he was also very keen on using the phrase “complete transparency.” It sounds as though Decode Car Hire is really putting the customer first when it comes to their car hire services and special offers.
When the clock strikes midnight on January 1st 2010, look for Decode Car Hire to really start ramping up their already good customer service to an unprecedented level. We can also expect to see Decode Car Hire pushing hard through the social markets in an attempt to find customers by different means than simple searches on Google or Yahoo. Decode Car Hire should be a major player in the car hire business come 2010 and with the implementation of the new customer service plans, they should have no trouble securing a lot of satisfied clients.
EIW,LLC Launches The Royal Hawaiian Chess Set
Posted , comments closed) Everett I. Whitney, President of EIW, LLC proudly launches, the Royal Hawaiian Chess Set.
Developed initially to offer as a souvenir alternative to tourists visiting Hawaii. The product was designed to be symbolic, yet achieve immediate recognition. The challenge was to create recognizable Hawaiian themed pieces without crossing cultural taboos. The cultural taboos are profiles and resemblances of royalty as well as likenesses of individuals of the Royal Court.
The next challenge was to determine the consumer types. Over these many years, the consumer has remained relatively unchanged. The common motivation of a Hawaiian vacation is its geographic and culturally diverse location. The Hawaii tourist expectation is to experience an adventure that is not to foreign though it feels foreign, yet safe and knowingly home grown in America. Nearing their departure tourist seek souvenirs and gifts to take home to family and friends. Vendors have been forced to sell Hawaiian souvenir goods with labels made in China, Taiwan etc. which is not new; this has been going on for years. These products have been generic, humdrum and mundane, simply trinkets to appease the masses of family and friends when they get home. The tourists that can afford a little authenticity find local art galleries and arts and craft shops for Hawaiian crafts made in Hawaii.
The Royal Hawaiian Chess Set was designed to give as gifts or buy for souvenirs and fits in most suit cases. The Royal Hawaiian Chess Set can be made anywhere in the world, because the name and the product are true to what they represent, “Hawaii and its royal past.”
Mr. Whitney thinks, “as more and more airlines offer bargain prices to Hawaii and AAA Travel offers increditable package plans and Disney opens their Hawaiian resort, we will be ready to accommodate demand. ” Whitney continues, ” it is especially exciting to see how our product will impact the souvenir
and gift markets of Hawaii.”

Lancashire chef honoured at regional tourism ‘Oscars’
Posted October 23, 2009 , comments closed) Accrington-born chef Nigel Haworth was honoured last night (Monday 28th September) at the sixth annual England’s Northwest Tourism Awards.
Co-Director of Northcote and one of the region’s greatest food ambassadors, Nigel was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Tourism Award at Blackpool’s famous Tower Ballroom.
Nigel was one of four award winners from Lancashire and Blackpool to be named the best in the Northwest at the ceremony.
The Ashton in Lancaster took home the Bed and Breakfast of the Year award, for its impeccable standards and fantastic elegance. Blackpool Illuminations was named the Tourism Event of the Year for its ultra-modern approach to what is a Northwest institution. Tourism Experience of the Year was awarded to Farmaggedon near Ormskirk, a frightening but unique example of farm diversification at its best, and one of the world’s top 25 must-visit hauntings.
La Locanda Ristorante in Gisburn received a judges’ commendation in the Taste of England’s Northwest category.
Organised by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), the prestigious event aims to drive up the quality of the visitor experience across the region by rewarding excellence in the tourism industry. This year’s event was hosted by BBC North West Tonight presenter Ranvir Singh.
In addition to receiving a prestigious title and trophy, regional winners now have the opportunity to represent the Northwest in the national awards, organised by VisitEngland in April 2010.
Felicity Goodey, Chair of Tourism England’s Northwest said:
“The Northwest Tourism Awards have set a very high benchmark for the industry over the past few years. These winners are some of the best of the best. They are delivering a distinctive product, outstanding quality and value for money, that’s why even in the present economic climate they continue to do so well.
“These awards recognise and reward the leaders in what is a very competitive industry. I am confident we will do very well when some of them represent us in the national Enjoy England Awards for Excellence next year.”
Nick Brooks-Sykes, Director of Tourism at the NWDA, added:
“Tourism is an important industry in the Northwest, contributing over £13 billion to our economy every year. The NWDA is committed to helping the industry to improve its competitiveness, and these awards play an important role in encouraging the quality and standards that we need to be an international player. These businesses are setting the standards for others to follow.”
