Best Western to Open New Hotel in Pattaya
Posted October 2, 2008 , trackbackBest Western International (BWI) is to open a new 132-room hotel in the eastern seaboard resort city of Pattaya towards the end of this year.
The Best Western Signature Pattaya will have tastefully-designed guest rooms, a restaurant offering international cuisine, a cozy bar to unwind in, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and sauna.
BWI Vice President International Operations – Asia Glenn de Souza said, “The hotel is a response to the growing demand in the area with stylish guest rooms complete with amenities, high-speed internet connection and LCD TV. Best of all, the location is right at the heart of the city, in a spot that boasts of beautiful bay views.”
Travel time from Suvarnabhumi International Airport to the hotel is around 90-minutes. The hotel’s location provides easy access for guests to the beach front as well as to the port areas for brief excursions to nearby islands. It also opens up towards Pattaya’s prime entertainment and leisure venues including the nightlife — all within walking distance.
Some 6.85 million tourists were recorded to have visited Pattaya in 2007. Pattaya offers a full spectrum of tropical seaside leisure pursuits — from golf and water sports to traditional cultural excursions. There are wellness retreats, yoga centres, and spas alongside fine dining restaurants offering cuisines from around the world. Meanwhile, also expected to rise around the area is “The Beach”, a Disneyland-style cyber-age water theme park.
