Dr. C.K. Mao during the Opening Ceremony of the 69th Skal World Congress held in Taipei, Taiwan at the TICC (Taipei International Convention Centre).

Rixos Hotels expands into Asia
Posted , add a commentRixos Hotels continues its global expansion with the launch of its first hotel in Thailand. The 298-room Rixos Premium Khao Lak opens on December 16, the Rixos Group’s initial hotel in Asia as it expands outside its European base for the first time.
The Khao Lak resort follows the company’s eight other properties in Europe by presenting Asia’s first exclusive “All Inclusive” concept, in which guests receive meals and other food and beverage options as part of the in-room package.

Rocco Forte to open spa resort in Sicily

The Verdura Golf and Spa Resort is scheduled to open in 2009 on the southern coast of the island in the small village Verdura. It is only one hour from Palermo airport and 30km from Agrigento and the Temple Valley.
